Carragher Revealed Wigan Were Interested in Signing Him

Jamie Carragher is regarded as one of the legends at Liverpool after having spent the entirety of his career at Anfield. However, he has now revealed that Wigan Athletic came close to signing him as a veteran. Roberto Martinez was interested in signing Carragher when he was the manager of Wigan.

The 41-year-old, who is now a pundit with Sky Sports, claims that his agent never mentioned about interest from any clubs. As a result, the interest from Wigan went away without any knowledge.
