Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was highly critical of the Tottenham Hotspur midfield during their North London Derby defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Sunday. Jamie Carraghercriticised Spurs and the amount of space left for Arsenal players to do damage while he was doing his punditry work on Sky Sports.

According to the ex-Liverpool centre back, there was lessspace in the moon as he referenced the lack of a midfield for Tottenham Hotspur during the latest North London Derby clash in the Premier League. Arsenal were at their best as they hit Spurs for three in the first half. At the end of proceedings, Arsenal beat Spurs 3-1 at home to record a third consecutive league win.

Jamie Carragher was not impressed with the Tottenham Hotspur defence against the Gunners who took the lead through England u-21 international Emile Smith-Rowe before the Arsenal Academy graduate turned provider for Pierre-EmerickAubameyang to continue his good form in the North London Derby. The Gabonese international made it four goals in three games at home to Spurs on the Premier League scene with the second Arsenal goal. Arsenal scored a third goal six minutes after Aubameyang finished off a fluid passing move to double the Gunners’ lead.
Tottenham Hotspur were much improved in the second half as Arsenal took the foot off the gas in the second half with the damage done in the first half. Son Heung-Min was able to pull one back for Spurs off the assist from Spanish left-sided defender Sergio Reguilon as Arsenal ran out 3-1 winners to leapfrog Spurs into the top half of the Premier League log.
Arsenal started the new season with three successive Premier League defeats but they have been able to turn the corner with three successive Premier League wins. On the other hand, Spurs have lost three straight Premier League games since they secured top spot with three successive Premier League wins at the start of the season.
