El Hadji Diouf fires shots towards Jamie Carragher

El Hadji Diouf is a former Liverpool who used to perform with the English Premier League starting from 2002 until 2005 and during that 3 yearlong time-lapse, the Senegalese footballer made over 70 appearances.

The retired Senegalese forward did not really impress in Anfield as his performances could not live up to his price tag of €10 million and during the season of 2004-05, he was offloaded to Bolton Wanderers on a loan deal where he actually did make significantly better performances and eventually opted to sign a permanent deal with Bolton.

The time that El Hadji Diouf spent in Anfield was not a very memorable one as he failed to make a name for himself in any positive way. He is actually remembered for some of his more shameful acts including a performance that the Senegalese attacker made against Celtic in Scotland where he spat at one of the home fans.

He is even considered to be as one of Liverpool´s worst signings of all time.

To make matters worse, El Hadji Diouf has established an unhealthy relationship with a few of Liverpool´s most important players including: Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard.

According to the Senegalese, Jamie Carragher never had the qualities needed to become a top level footballer as El Hadji Diouf said during an interview: ¨If Carragher wasn't a Scouser, he was never going to play football in his life. I'm sorry for him. I only have this to say for him. The difference between Jamie and me is that I am a world class player and he is a shit¨

Those are comments released by El Hadji Diouf at some point in time.

Jamie Carragher on the other hand has released statements such as: “He's the only Liverpool no.9 ever to go through a whole season 2003-04 without scoring. He’s the biggest turkey I’ve ever seen on a football pitch! He was always the last one to get picked in training."

Truth be told, Jamie Carragher has a much more impressive playing career than El Hadji Diouf has ever had and the former Liverpool defender is an icon who has lifted major pieces of silverware while the Senegalese retiree could never really make an impact for any of the clubs that he joined throughout his playing career.
