CARRAGHER SAYS LIVERPOOL SHOULD SIGN VILLARREAL STAR THIS SUMMER

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool target Arnaut Danjuma is reportedly prepared to leave Villarreal this summer. A recent report from El Periodico Mediterraneo has offered an update on the future of Arnaut Danjuma. It appears the Dutchman is determined to leave Villarreal in the summer and has asked the club to accept any potential offers for his services. It has put a number of clubs on alert, including English trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Despite his impressive performances in Spain, Danjuma is not happy with his life at Villarreal. He has struggled to integrate into life in Spain, and his heart is set on a move away from the club. He has asked Villarreal to accept any bid that comes for him, with the Spanish outfit reportedly holding out for a fee of €40 million.
Liverpool, for one, have been monitoring the situation of Danjuma for a long time. They were linked with the Dutchman in January, but a move did not materialise as Villarreal had no intention of letting him go in the middle of the season.

Danjuma himself is aware of Liverpool’s interest, and with Sadio Mane subjected to a move to Bayern Munich, one would expect the Reds to step up their pursuit of the Villarreal starlet. Liverpool are not alone in the pursuit, as they are set to face competition from arch-rivals Manchester United. With 16 goals in 34 competitive matches this past season, the Dutch forward has emerged as a top target for new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag as he looks to replace the departing Edinson Cavani this summer.
Arsenal are another potential destination for the former Bournemouth starlet. The 25-year-old is being likely targeted as a direct replacement for Alexandre Lacazette. Eddie Nketiah is facing an uncertain future at Arsenal, although the youngster may end up signing a new contract extension.
