FANS ANGRY AT KLOPP AFTER STRING OF LOSSES

Liverpool fans have turned on their beloved coach Jurgen Klopp after the string of losses the team has suffered of recent.

Liverpool suffered three straight losses ahead of their clash with Chelsea on Tuesday. They were thrashed by Swansea in the Premier League at home then they suffered a shocking EFL Cup semi final exit in the hands of Southampton before losing to Wolves in the FA Cup.

The fans are even more disappointed since the losses were on home soil. Against Wolverhampton Wanderers many expected Liverpool to upturn previous losses but goals from Richard Stearman and Andreas Weimann helped the visitors shock the fans. A late consolation from Divock Origi was not enough to extend the clash.

Reds legend Jamie Carragher tweeted as many trolled him on the losses. The pundit posted through his handle @Carra23:

“Not seen any of the @LFC game as it wasn’t on @SkySports & they don’t allow me to watch other channels. Also my birthday so leave me alone!”

If Liverpool loose to Chelsea it would likely end any chance of them winning the Premier League this season. The Blues are the favourites to win the title this season, going by their form and results but they face two difficult tests against Liverpool and then Arsenal.

Carragher opines that the reason for Liverpool’s slump was because the team lacked depth in character. He added that Klopp’s men cannot sustain high intensity football, hence the losses. He was critical of embattle striker Daniel Sturridge.

“Out of the top six, Liverpool’s is probably the sixth best squad or the sixth best team. But they are where they are because of the manager and no Europe. Now with them running out of legs, that energy, we’re maybe seeing what this Liverpool squad is,” Carragher said, dismissing the squad.
